Elise Evans (evans20e@mtholyoke.edu) is in the class of 2010 at Mount Holyoke College. She is an Environmental Studies major, with a concentration in Sustainable Development, and a minor in Dance. She is glad to have had the opportunity to be a part of MVI’s first Global/Local Challenges to Sustainability program. Evans grew up in Seattle, WA. For many summers she has worked at Camp Robbinswold, a Girl Scout camp on the Olympic Peninsula of Washington state, including as a Unit Counselor, the Nature Specialist, and a Counselor in Training Director. Evans is a trip leader for the Mount Holyoke Outing Club, and always enjoys going contra dancing! |

Hillary Edwards is an undergraduate student at Goucher College in Maryland, where she is a double major in Management and Art with a concentration in Arts Administration. Matt Cohen-Price, a Junior at Goucher College, is studying issues of globalization and development as a part of the Monteverde Institute's Local-Global Challenges to Sustainability course. An AmeriCorps alumnus and Field Organizer for Barack Obama's Presidential Campaign, Matt hopes to continue his organizing work in the future, especially focused on issues of sustainability and social justice in disaster response.
